No it’s not the new jolt mountain dew cola drink. Red5 is the rtmp server for streaming live video from our server. Someone wants this Chat Roulette clone set up, and apparently it requires an rtmp server. So since we are planning on expanding our streaming options anyway, today is as good a time as any!
Also on my list is to try installing various OS’s onto VPSs on my Citrix R&D box. One thing at a time…

Just installed wordpress and was able to upgrade akismet with one click, so that’s a good sign. Now how will it work on our web cluster? Works well! Just had to update the links in “Settings” to point to the actual site address instead of the staging server. woo hoo.
